Somewhere Good: The Climate Crisis and the Prophetic Imagination
Saturday 14 October 2023, Online (Register Here), 11am–1.30pm

On Saturday 14 October, 11am-1.30pm, join us online for our 2023 Supporters’ Event, Somewhere Good: The Climate Crisis and the Prophetic Imagination, open to anyone interested in exploring the connections between faith and the climate crisis.

This event was previously scheduled to be both in-person and online, but is now online only.

We’re excited to have three theologians reflect on our topic; they are:

  • Chine McDonald, author and Director of Theos, a Christian think tank
  • Revd Vanessa Elston, pioneer priest in Southwark Diocese and a climate activist
  • Revd Vanessa Conant, Rector of St Mary’s Walthamstow and co-sponsor of a clergy letter from earlier this year calling on the Church of England to divest from fossil fuels

In addition to our three speakers, we will also celebrate our recent campaign wins – particularly the decision by the Church of England’s Pensions Board and Church Commissioners to divest from all fossil fuel companies – as well as update you on our other campaign work and invite you to participate in a break-out group workshop on an environmental or campaigning topic.

If you would like to join us for this exciting, free event, book a place today by clicking here.
