Richard Dimery

Richard is a vicar in the Church of England, always having ministered around Leeds since he was ordained 16 years ago. He studied Maths and Natural Sciences at Cambridge then came to Leeds to study the first Masters in Science in Religion in the UK. Richard studied theology at Oxford at Wycliffe while training for ordination. He spent five years on the national committee for Christians in Science many years ago, but most of his focus now is the local church, especially taking them on a journey into justice, ecochurch and responding to human need in loving service. Richard is a modern abolitionist, partnering with IJM and endeavouring to be single-use-plastic-free. He is married with three children and eight chickens! He has been a vicar in Pudsey between Leeds and Bradford for a few years with a fantastic congregation working towards Ecochurch status.
