Climate Sunday is an initiative that encourages churches to hold a climate-themed service during the 12 months starting on 6 September 2020. By November 2021, over 2,200 churches around the country had held a Climate Sunday service, with many of those churches taking action by signing up to a church greening scheme, signing ‘The Time is Now Declaration’ from the Climate Coalition or lobbying their local MP.
