In January, Clare Fussell was appointed as our new Bright Now Campaign Director. Having previously led The Climate Coalition, managed Christian Aid’s Campaign Team and served as Environmental Adviser for the Diocese of Bristol, Clare has an impressive campaigning background, and we’re excited to have her leading our team. Here, Clare reflects on joining Operation Noah.
On Saturday 14 October, Operation Noah held our 2023 online Supporters’ Event, with three speakers reflecting on our topic, ‘Somewhere Good: The Climate Crisis and the Prophetic Imagination’. In addition to our three speakers, we also celebrated our recent campaign wins – particularly the decision by the Church of England’s Pensions Board and Church Commissioners to divest from all fossil fuel companies – as well as providing updates on our other campaigns
On Saturday 14 October, 11am-1.30pm, join us online for our 2023 Supporters’ Event, ‘Somewhere Good: The Climate Crisis and the Prophetic Imagination’ featuring Chine McDonald and open to anyone interested in exploring the connections between faith and the climate crisis. Registration for this exciting, free event – which will feature workshops alongside talks from Revd Vanessa Elston and Revd Vanessa Conant – is now open. This event was previously scheduled to be both in-person and online, but is now online only.
